Return and Refund Policy
At Oz Phone Repairs (OZ PHONES PTY LTD, ABN 82 642 825 492), we stand behind the quality of our products and repair services. This policy applies to both accessory purchases and repair services and complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
Part A – Repair Services Warranty
Warranty Coverage
All repair services carried out by Oz Phone Repairs are covered by the following warranties:
- Mobile Phone, iPad & Tablet Screen Repairs — Lifetime Warranty on parts and labour
- Mobile Phone, iPad & Tablet Battery Replacement — 6-Month Warranty on parts and labour
- MacBook & Laptop Screen and Battery Replacement — 12-Month Warranty on parts and labour
- All Other Parts Replacement — 12-Month Warranty on parts and labour
- Mobile Accessories (chargers, cables, power banks, wireless chargers, etc.) — 12-Month Warranty
What the Repair Warranty Covers
Our repair warranty covers defects in the replacement parts used and faults arising from our workmanship. If a repaired component fails due to a parts or workmanship defect within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it at no charge.
What the Repair Warranty Does Not Cover
- Water or liquid damage occurring after the repair
- Physical damage, drops, or accidental damage after the repair
- Devices with pre-existing water damage — no warranty applies to water-damaged devices
- Damage caused by unauthorised third-party repairs after our service
- Normal wear and tear
- Software issues or faults unrelated to the repair performed
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim on a repair, please contact us within the applicable warranty period with your proof of repair (receipt or job number). We will assess the device and, if the fault is covered under warranty, we will repair or replace the faulty component at no cost to you.

Part B – Product Returns and Refunds (Accessories & Parts)
30-Day Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 30-day change of mind return policy on accessory products. To be eligible, your item must be:
- In the same condition as received — unused, unworn and undamaged
- In its original packaging with all tags attached
- Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase
To start a return, contact us at info@ozphonerepairs.com.au before sending any item back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted. Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under our change of mind policy:
- Sale items or items purchased with a discount code (unless faulty)
- Gift cards
- Custom or special-order items
- Opened screen protectors or adhesive products
Please note that these exclusions do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, please return the original item following the process above. Once the return is accepted, you may place a new order for the item you want. Contact us if you need assistance with an exchange.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If your return is approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process and post the refund.
Part C – Australian Consumer Law Guarantees
Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure with a product or service
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
- Have a product repaired or replaced if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure
Our change of mind return policy and repair warranty are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
